Warfighter is the fourteenth installment in the MoH franchise and a direct sequel to the last title released in 2010. It was recently announced by EA that beta testing will be opening on Friday, October 5th. So far, it seems to be exclusively available to Xbox 360 GOLD members. To start testing, download the beta from Xbox Live Marketplace and await instructions at this address.
This beta is a multiplayer campaign where you and another soldier are on a Fireteam. With this comes new respawn options and resupply of ammo and health. Players will also be rewarded for working as a team and receive bonuses for completing missions together. The Warfighter beta features Authentic Action, treating players to a firsthand experience of some of the world’s most elite warriors. You may choose from the always tactile British SAS, the deadly accurate U.S. Navy SEALS, plus more. Battle through real world places to prove your class’s dominance. Beta testers can also use the Battlelog which connects you with friends and platoons to compare stats. You’ll be able to customize your platoon patches and even your own weapon. This information can even be read on your Xbox dash screen for quick checkups.
With all this content and more available to beta testers, it would be wise to sign up as soon as possible. However, if you’re one who can wait a little for the full game, it won’t take long. Medal of Honor: Warfighter is available in stores on October 23, 2012 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
