If you love Black Friday sales, but hate dealing with things like…people and shoving, and long lines that take a thousand hours to get through while kids run around and scream, leading to their parents yelling at them, then you’ve become accustomed to saving your sanity and shopping online for deals.
Amazon’s got you covered all next week with lightning deals, and instead of vague hints, they’ve actually said exactly which games will be on sale and when. Each day will see a variety of games on sale, with some key highlights being Silent Hill: Downpour going for $20 on Monday, The Sly Collection on sale for $10 along with Steel Diver for $5 on Tuesday and Lumines: Electronic Symphony will be $15 and Prototype 2’s CE will only set you back $30 on Wednesday.
Thanksgiving Day sees a dramatic increase in the amount of games on sale, with highlights being Dishonored for $25, the Ratchet and Clank Collection for $15, Epic Mickey 2 for $25, the Sly Collection for $10, Gran Turismo 5 XL Edition for $10, Medal of Honor Warfighter LE for $25, and a “doorbuster” bundle on the PS3 with the first two Uncharted games and all Infamous ones for $200. The Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector’s set will also only be $100. Black Friday keeps a large lineup of games on sale, with the biggest values being Modern Warfare 3, Max Payne 3, and GTA IV: Complete Edition all being $15 each, while WWE ’13 will only set you back $25.
Saturday’s deals are limited to Kinect Star Wars for $25 and Infamous and R&C Collections+controller bundles being $50. There are a lot of tempting deals here, but my advice would be to stick with things you only absolutely want to own or get for someone as a gift – any ‘maybe’ stuff will probably be super-cheap at other times during the year.
