Once a man caught between adapting to normal society and staying the killer the military had turned him into, Rambo began to be muscles with a machine gun starting in Rambo First Blood: Part II. The character became quickly known for that archetype and successive movies became less dialogue, more tanks ramming into things. Rambo: The Video Game (not the arcade one) uses that Rambo as its inspiration, as seen in the first footage of the game.
While the graphics look absolutely awful, the character model has perhaps the best hair and abs in video game history. Plus, you can shove combat knives through enemy throats and explode stuff, so it’s not all bad.
Published by Reef Entertainment and developed by iOS developer Teyon, Rambo is due out Winter 2013.
