According to an announcement on the PlayStation Blog by Marie-Christine Bourdua, Fez will be releasing across Sony consoles on March 25. The development began due to an overabundance of fan demands, and will be virtually identical on all systems — with the exception of the PlayStation 4, which features some nifty gimmicks.
Bourdua writes, “DualShock 4’s lightbar has been put to the task of bringing a little bit of Fez’s world into your own home, and you may not need to search for that dusty pair of red/cyan glasses to experience a very late-game easter egg.”
The PlayStation 4 version will also be the “best-looking and smoothest Fez experience you can get on a TV set,” running at 1080p, 60fps. Of course, the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita versions are all beautiful slices of puzzle gaming, with the same beloved content the original provided. Those who haven’t jumped into Fez yet — this is your chance.
