Activision Publisher Weekend Hits Steam From May 1 Until May 5

May has begun and with it comes a surprise sale from Activision. Sadly, it’s not an amazing sale, but it’s still got some savings. Call of Duty: Ghost is the key attraction here, with a free multiplayer weekend and a 33% off sale taking it down to $40. The Amazing Spider-Man is $17, while Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is $40. Yes, in 2014. The War for Cybertron is a far more reasonable $13.39, while the non-Ghosts CoD games get some humorous sale prices. Call of Duty 1, United Offensive, 2, 4: Modern Warfare, World at War, and Modern Warfare 2 can be yours for $15 each thanks to a 25% off sale. Modern Warfare 3 is $30 with that percentage off, and the same holds true for Black Ops. Black Ops II is $45, and the highest-priced CoD game of the bunch. Outside of that franchise, you can get Prototype for $13.39, its sequel for $27, and a variety of savings on Cabela’s games.

They’re all 75% off, with African Adventures being $10, Big Game Hunter: Trophy Bucks, being $5, and both Hunting Expiditions and Dangerous Hunts 2013 taken down to $7.50. Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse can be had for $12.50, but it’s a waste of money. Similarly, Fat and Furious: Showdown is $7.50. A far better use of funds would be getting GUN for $5, since it’s outstanding. Ice Age 4: Continental Drift: Arctic Games is $10, while Singularity is $7.50, The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is $12.50, while TimeShift is another $5 game you might want to check out. One must-buy is definitely Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved for $2, while fans of classic adventure games will want to pick up either the King’s Quest or Space Quest Collection for $10. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is $7.50, while the iffy Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD is $5 with a 50% off savings.
