Bemani has been churning out some of the best rhythm games since their inception in 1997. They’re responsible for the Beatmania, Dance Dance Revolution and Pop’n Music series among others, the second of which remains popular in US arcades to this day. Now they’ve released their latest game, BeatStream, to Japanese arcades.
As with most Japanese rhythm games, the game is a bit hard to understand until you get your hands on it, but it seems to be a very colorful crossover of Rhythm Control and MaiMai.
