EA has released their first trailer for NBA Live 15 and the focus is the improved visuals.
The trailer shows the NBA’s most iconic players in stunning detail and according to EA is completely made up of in-game footage. If that’s true it will truly be a marvel in the visuals department.
NBA Live was initially cancelled in 2010 after EA tried to retool the game and rebrand it NBA Elite 11, however, the game was not well received after the demo and was scrapped due to that and development issues. EA successfully brought back the Live franchise with NBA Live 14 and it was immediately known as the worst game in franchise history. The game was received so poorly it actually spurred an apology from executive producer, Sean O’Brien.
This will be EA’s second foray onto current-gen consoles and we can only hope the game performs better than its predecessor. It would be nice to get some competition again in the sports genre of gaming.
NBA Live 15 launches alongside NBA 2K15 on October 7 for Xbox One and PS4
