Jason Mewes Joins Cast of Randal’s Monday, Daedalic’s Latest Point & Click

If you’re unfamiliar with Jason Mewes’ work in the film industry, here’s something that’ll put his talent into perspective. And if you’re a Kevin Smith fan, you’ve probably already set some cash aside for Randal’s Monday when it releases on November 12, 2014.

The actor, known mostly for his role as Jay, partner in crime to Bob (Kevin Smith) across multiple View Askewniverse films including Clerks and Dogma, will be making a cameo appearance as himself alongside Clerks star Jeff Anderson — who was only recently announced as leading voice of the game. “We are over the moon now also having Jason on board,” said Nexus Game Studios Lead Producer Enric Costa in a press release.

Randal’s Monday, a classic point & click adventure is set to be a geeks dream come true, featuring “countless items and nods toward the golden age of geek culture.” Movies, shows, games and even retro-consoles from the 80s and 90s will be targets for parody and references galore, littering a script full of “cynical humor” and a “bizarre” story.

If you’re in the market for a crazy adventure, check out the games official website and give the sucker a purchase.
