Club Nintendo Slowly Returning to Normal

After nearly day of the Club Nintendo site crashing, it’s finally back up and running at a somewhat normal pace. If you visit the site it could be tough logging in due to the overwhelming number of people trying at the same time. That’s what brought the site down in the first place, but at least you might make it on the inside.

There are a few errors that may occur when on the Club Nintendo pages. Before even logging in, it may stop you from proceeding and you’ll just have to try signing in again. Once you log in, after clicking around, it may log you right out.

When you go to redeem a prize, Wario might pop up saying there was an error, but not to worry because he’ll keep your coins safe. The order didn’t continue so your coins weren’t affected. Once you do click to redeem the prize and get to the confirmation page, you could run into a generic error with no fun Mario characters. Still, your account will no be affected. Lastly, an error may occur where it shows your coins were not decreased after redeeming an item. Don’t worry, it doesn’t mean you’re able to continuously purchase an unlimited supply of products.

There are a lot of great games to redeem for Wii, Wii U and 3DS. Plenty of classics like Earthbound and Clu Clu Land as well as new titles like The Wonderful 101 and Super Mario 3D Land. The site is still undergoing maintenance, but some lucky users will be able to make it through and grab Smash Bros. posters or the Majora’s Mask messenger bag.

If you’re striving to get any physical prizes, then keep trying. The games themselves aren’t going anywhere, so those will be fine. It’s best to give them a couple of days to work out the kinks before you try entering new codes; just to give you a flawless process.
