Castlevania: Spectral Interlude Released on ZX Spectrum

Castlevania’s 2D offerings have been slim for a long time, and fans have found ways to pass the time. Some have improved on Castlevania II with an improved translation that can actually be understood by humans. Now, ZX Spectrum fans have a whole new game to enjoy – Castlevania: Spectral Interlude. This was planned as a Simon’s Quest demake, but morphed into its own game that keeps the action-platforming/RPG blend of Simon’s Quest alive. It has two difficulty levels, a 12 song soundtrack, upgrades, and over 150 game screens. The game can be played on a ZX Spectrum or using an emulator on PC or Android devices.
