Fractured Space, the team-based space combat game from Edge Case Games, is free this weekend on Steam, and anyone who plays it before 10AM Pacific on April 20th gets to keep it in their Steam library.
While it normally costs $7.49 to get into the game’s early access build, which includes the Forerunner pack DLC and Founder status, Edge Case is allowing players to join the game free this weekend. The company plans to “transition Fractured Space from Early Access to a Free to Play model in 2015,” according to the game’s Steam page, and the game’s free availability may be a first step towards that move.
