Last night Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection was prematurely posted onto Sony’s mobile website. Today, they’ve officially announce the collection and details.
The remastered games are being developed by Bluepoint Games who have also worked on titles like Titanfall, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Ico and Shadow of Colossus Collection, and the God of War Collection.
The Nathan Drake Collection won’t be a mere porting of games to the PlayStation 4 either. Bluepoint Games will be working on improvements across all of the games including improving resolution to 1080p, making the game run at 60 FPS, with better lighting, textures, and models. The collection will only include the single player modes from all three titles, but will also allow you access to the multiplayer beta for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
If you pre-order the collection you’ll receive the Nathan Drake Pack which includes:
- Single player skins of iconic Drake outfits
- Golden AK-47 and 92FS guns
- If digitally via the PlayStation store you’ll also receive the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PS4 theme
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will release October 7 in Europe and October 9 in the U.S. exclusively for PlayStation 4.
