Time Machine VR is promising to take you on a journey of prehistoric Jurassic times to catalog the dinosaurs, and it’s doing it exclusively in virtual reality. The game sounds like a mix between Jurassic Park and Pokémon Snap, and that sounds all right by me:
Time Machine VR is a time travel dinosaur safari. In the year 2033 CE, humankind has unlocked the secrets to time travel and as one of the world’s newly recruited top minds, your mission is to assemble the most comprehensive record of Earth’s prehistory ever created. If you succeed, you will be the first human to ever witness breathing saurians in their natural habitat. But can you truly touch the fabric of time without tearing it?
Developed by Minority Media, creators of indie darling Papo & Yo, lists the game as an Oculus Rift exclusive in its press release, but on its official page and in its trailer description, it lists “VR devices.” We’re reaching out to Minority Media for clarification and will report back.
UPDATE: Minority Media has responded to our request to clarify that Time Machine VR is “a VR exclusive NOT and [sic] Oculus exclusive.”
