You know, when you really think about it, the genesis of Mario as a character is totally weird. I mean, the guy’s a carpenter/plumber and somehow became a mascot for gaming as a whole.
With that in mind, it totally makes sense for a construction worker to star in a platformer. The Adventures of Mr. Bobley puts players in the overalls of a hardhat-wearing fellow who must safely navigate 3D environments, solve physics puzzles, and, of course, operate heavy machinery.
The graphics of The Adventures of Mr. Bobley certainly aren’t anything to write home about, but they’re far better than Construction Bob Escapes from Hell (the only other construction worker-based platformer that came to mind). You can nab The Adventures of Mr. Bobley on Steam for $3.99.
