Geralt of Rivia is back for another adventure in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s first single player expansion, Hearts of Stone. In this expansion, Geralt goes faces Olgierd von Everec, a ruthless bandit captain who just so happens to possess the power of immortality.
Hearts of Stone contains over ten hours of new adventures and introduces new characters, monsters, a unique romance, and a brand new story. Much like with previous Witcher games, the story of Hearts of Stone is heavily shaped by gamer choice. Will you hire a crew of break-in artists to sneak into a party? Will you spend all night partying with a ghost? These choices are yours to make. Hearts of Stone also adds in a new gameplay system, Runewords. Each Runeword impacts a different aspect of the in-game mechanics. Players will have to experiment with the different Runewords available to figure out the best strategy.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt: Hearts of Stone is out October 13 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Players will need a copy of the original game to play the expansion.
