Sony released on Wednesday a video featuring well-known individuals from the gaming industry, ranging from developers to voice actors, picking their favorite moments from Naughty Dog’s critically acclaimed Uncharted franchise.
No Man’s Sky director Sean Murray, Sony’s Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida, Nolan North (the voice of series protagonist Nathan Drake) and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End directors Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann all make an appearance in the video, as they reminisce on the Uncharted segments that really stood out for them.
The Nathan Drake Collection, which Sony announced earlier this year, includes the remastered versions of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, but the PlayStation Vita’s Uncharted: Golden Abyss didn’t make the final cut, unfortunately.
Bluepoint Games, who worked on The Nathan Drake Collection, not only made the improvements of having 1080p and 60fps for the title, but the developer also added new features, including Photo Mode and a Brutal Difficulty Mode.
Hardcore Gamer’s review for The Nathan Drake Collection emphasizes that “it’s simply the best way to experience three great games,” as Bluepoint Games has made “all three [titles] shine in 1080p and are right at home alongside other PS4 exclusives.”
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will launch in North America, the UK and Ireland on October 9 for PlayStation 4.
