EA and Dice have revealed that a staggering amount of players participated in the Star Wars: Battlefront open beta. More than nine million players logged in and played the beta during the five days it was up. According to EA, this is the single largest beta in the history of the company.
The Star Wars: Battlefront open beta launched October 8 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC players. Dice opened up three modes to play during the beta; the multiplayer modes Walker Assault and Drop Zone, and the Survival Mission. Everyone got their first chance to test out some of the weapons, star cards, vehicles, and heroes that will be in the game when it launches next month. Yesterday, EA and Dice revealed the full list of multiplayer modes and Missions coming with the full game.
Now it’s just a matter of waiting. Dice has a ton of data and feedback they’ll use to tune and balance the game before launch. Players can pick up the game on November 17 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
