Following its upgrade to becoming a Staff Pick on Kickstarter — and with €17,000 raised of its €50,000 goal (just over a third of the target) — the creators of upcoming third-person survival-horror Song of Horror, Protocol Games, have shared a new trailer to promote their current project. The game is described as a ‘heavily story-driven third person survival horror’ which aims to combine ‘automated camera angles and an inspiration in the old school classics with modern design, mechanics and visuals, evocative of mankind’s eternal fear of what cannot be understood.’
Though the project was initially planned for a PC release — and has recently been successfully green-lit on Steam — publisher Badland Indie’s involvement means Song of Horror now has its sights set for a console release alongside, both for PS4 and Xbox One. Song of Horror will be a chapter-based title set in multiple locations and is still available for backing on its official Kickstarter page. Check out the trailer below and see what you think.
