UK Charts: Fallout 4 takes the crown from Call of Duty: Black Ops III

Fallout 4 has successfully stolen the top spot in the UK from Call of Duty: Black Ops III. The latest entry in the Fallout franchise had the best launch week sales of any other entry in the franchise, and is the third biggest launch of 2015 so far. Fallout 4 is behind only FIFA 16 and Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Bethesda should be proud, as week one sales of Fallout 4 outsold Fallout: New Vegas’ week one sales by 213%.

Rise of the Tomb Raider, an Xbox exclusive for the holiday, debuted in fourth place. 85% of players opted to pick up the Xbox One version, and only 15% picked up the game on Xbox 360. Football Manager 2016 was the other new debut, and a PC exclusive. The game debuts in seventh place.
