New Valkyria Chronicles Games Announced for PS4

After deciding to forego having Valkyria Chronicles 2 and 3 on console, Sega is bringing it back. The highly popular Japanese magazine, Famitsu, announced today that Sega is developing not only one but two Valkyria Chronicles games to the PlayStation 4.

The first is a remaster of the original 2008 release. Considering the game hit the PC with enhanced visual fidelity just over a year ago, it shouldn’t be too difficult to bring the game over to the platform.

The one everyone’s waiting for, though, is the new game titled Valkyria of the Blue Revolution. Unfortuantely, nothing is really known about this, but at least the preview on Famitsu’s website does show that the game retains its anime-inspired visual flair.
