The Sitdown: Is Star Wars Battlefront a Bad Game?

A new Star Wars Battlefront has been ten years in the making, but many began to grow worried when news broke that it would become a DICE-developed franchise published by EA. While it isn’t a carbon copy of Battlefield as many had feared, that’s looking like it may have been a better route as it seems to miss the mark in being either a faithful Battlefront game or a Battlefield game with AT-ATs. Steve talks to Star Wars (and Battlefield) super-fan Kevin about where DICE went wrong and if there’s a chance the game could one day redeem itself.

And if you can’t get enough of Star Wars Battlefront, be sure to check out our review.

The official podcast for HardcoreGamer.com, The Sitdown is an intimate one-on-one conversation about a single game. Generally in the form of a review or preview, the writer who’s been playing the game sits down with our host to discuss it in finer detail. We’ll always choose an interesting, new game, generally before its launch for this briskly informative conversation.
