Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s New Patch Released

Developer Ubisoft Quebec’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has received a new update for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, publisher Ubisoft announced today.

Assassin’s Creed community manager Andrien Gbinigie posted on the Ubisoft forums the full details of what the new patch entails, with it addressing issues found in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s online features, the audio, missions and combat.

Gbinigie also noted that Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s Patch 1.2 requires 700 to 750MB of free space in order to download.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, which was released on PS4 and Xbox One last month, made its way to PC last week, in which Ubisoft also released a launch trailer to mark the occasion.

A few days prior to Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s release on PC, it was revealed that Ubisoft Quebec’s open-world action-adventure title is the frontrunner for the forthcoming Canadian Videogame Awards 2015, having received nominations in nine categories that include Game of the Year, Best Console Game and Best Writing.

While Hardcore Gamer’s review suggests that Assassin’s Creed Syndicate wasn’t a “broken mess that Assassin’s Creed Unity was,” it doesn’t detract from it being a “functional game that simply isn’t all that fun to play, which is far more damning than any technical glitch could ever be.”
