Qiao Gu Take On ESC Ever in the IEM Cologne Finals

The Intel Extreme Masters Cologne tournament is coming to a close with ESC Ever taking on Qiao Gu.

Why is this important? Other than IEM Cologne being our first real look at teams on the 5.23 patch, this finals setup is the classic China vs. Korea rivalry but with an interesting twist. ESC Ever is technically a Challenger team.

ESC Ever is a team that had the opportunity to qualify for LCK this upcoming split and let it all slip away. They then brought in two new members in ADC LokeN and former KT Rolster Jungler Ares. After that change the team went into the 2015 KeSPA Cup and not only beat the defending World Champions in SKT T1, but also won it all beating CJ Entus.

If you follow League of Legends at all you’ll want to tune into this match to see the new team not even in the LCK yet. You can catch the finals here at 9:40 CST.
