Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege’s first DLC, Operation Black Ice, is available now for Season Pass holders.
Operation Black Ice adds some fresh content to Siege. You get two new operators, a brand new map, three new weapon skins, and a spectator cam for custom games. The spectator cam is available on all platforms, but can only be used during custom games.
Operation Black Ice adds two new Canadian JTF-2 operators, Buck and Frost. Buck is an attacker who comes equipped with an assault rifle/shotgun hybrid. He can quickly switch between assault rifle and shotgun, making him extremely useful in medium and short-range encounters. Frost is a defender and is equipped with the leg trap. Unlike a normal bear trap, the leg trap full clamps down on the leg, leaving the enemy on the floor in pain. Season Pass holders get immediate access to all DLC operators. All other players can unlock them through Renown or R6 credits seven days later.
The new map takes place in the Hudson Bay, where a luxury yacht has crashed into an iceberg. Attackers have been sent in to secure the yacht after a mysterious submarine docked near the vessel. This map is free to all players.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege and its Season Pass are available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
