If you’ve been paying attention to Hardcore Gamer for the past several months, you should know that we’re definitely excited for Necropolis, the upcoming stylish tough-as-nails roguelike game from Harebrained Schemes. The incredibly fun procedurally-generated soulcrusher has drawn several comparisons to the likes of the Dark Souls games, so it only seems appropriate that Bandai Namco will now be helping to publish the game for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The PC version, meanwhile, will still be independently published by Harebrained.
While this is good news, as it means Necropolis will now be appearing on more platforms and possibly get more exposure, there’s a bit of a trade-off in that the game has now been delayed from its planned March 17 release date to Summer 2016. To tide you over a bit until then, though, Harebrained Schemes has released a new trailer for Necropolis as well, showing off more of the game and its additional multiplayer action (complete with vomit!). You can check it out below, and then decide what platform you want your death delivered on.
