Bethesda today revealed the different multiplayer modes coming to their new DOOM game. There will be six in total — Team Deathmatch, Soul Harvest, Freeze Tag, Warpath, Domination and Clan Arena.
Probably only two of those sound familiar. Team Deathmatch and Domination. The others, featured in the trailer below, look super cool. Soul Harvest is just Kill Confirmed, only instead of dog tags, you pick up enemy souls. Freeze Tag looks especially fun. In it, you can freeze enemy players and thaw teammates, all while trying to kill each other. Frozen enemies are helpless, not being able to fire back or move. Warpath is similar to a Payload type game, where one team tries to move from one end of the map to the other, while the enemy team tries to stop them. And finally, Clan Arena allows players to fight mono-e-mono with another team with no pick-ups or demons to help you. Last team standing wins, or the team with the most players alive when time runs out.
