Doom is making its way back into the hearts and minds of gamers everywhere, and those who love dumb first-person shooters with gratiutous, mom-scaring violence are stoked. While we still don’t know whether the long-in-development title is going to live up to expectations, there is quite a bit of information out there that is causing general salivation across the gaming landscape.
Even though id Software’s next title is less than two months away, we still actually don’t know all that much about it. It’s a fast-paced shooter set in both Hell and on some sort of station loaded with metal and fire, and there is going to be single and multiplayer, but the nitty gritty details are a still a bit ambiguous. Thanks to a new video from id and Bethesda, we now know a bit more about the demons, weapons and power-ups present in the insane first person shooter.
Doom is currently set for release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 13.
