Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead comic book series, has shared some new details on the eagerly awaited third season of developer Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead.
With today marking the release of The Walking Dead: Michonne Episode 3: What We Deserve, the final episode in Telltale’s mini-series, Kirkman spoke to the developer about the “complexity of Michonne and what makes her a long-lasting fan favorite in such an immensely celebrated series.”
During the video interview, which is six minutes long and can be viewed below, Kirkman also said that The Walking Dead Season Three is “really exciting to me” and confirmed that Season Two heroine Clementine will be returning in some capacity.
“The way that the timeline works, Season Three will actually be getting pretty close to where we are in the comics concurrently,” he said. “We’ll be checking in on Clementine again, so we’ll be seeing her, seeing where she’s at and what’s going on with her, which is going to be great.
“But also similar to the Michonne series there will probably be some more comic book elements that we’ll be working into it in some interesting ways. I don’t want to spoil too much…”
The Walking Dead: Michonne Episode 3: What We Deserve is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and iOS and Android devices.
