After so many leaks over the last couple of weeks, there was one that grabbed our attention: Dead Rising 4. It only seems fit that Capcom and Microsoft would once again team up on the fourth installment as, while the second game was multiplatform and the first received a bizarre Wii port, the Dead Rising franchise has always been considered an Xbox franchise as much as Metal Gear Solid has been PlayStation.
At Xbox’s early E3 2016 press conference, Capcom has announced via a trailer that Dead Rising 4 is officially in development from their Vancouver studio, formerly that of Blue Castle Games. This is the same developer that has brought us the last two (technically three if you count “Off the Record”) Dead Rising games, along with The Bigs prior to Capcom’s acquisition.
Dead Rising 4 will be released for Xbox One and PC (Windows 10) this holiday 2016.
