New Evolve Stage 2 Update Brings a Well of New Features

As a part of their Shear Madness campaign, which will be going on throughout the month of August, Turtle Rock Studios announced a new update for their now free-to-play game, Evolve Stage 2. The update, 2.05, will include a new map variant, and the introduction of a co-op mode where players can play against an AI monster.

The new map variant is based on Orbital Drill, which now looks as if it has gone through a series of volcanic eruptions. This new version is called Cataclysm, and will be available in the Hunt playlist, as well as in the new co-op mode.

Last week was the first week of the Shear Madness event, and in that update they announced a new skin for the hunter Caira, and a slew of bug fixes and balancing changes. Check the full details on that one right here.

Evolve Stage 2 is available for free on Steam.
