Developer CD Projekt RED has announced that the closed beta for their spinoff Witcher card game Gwent has been delayed until October 25.
“We know we can make a first impression only once and we want to be sure everything is ready,” the team said. “Delivering a good game is more important to us than keeping a deadline. Still, that doesn’t mean we don’t realize that delays can be disappointing, and we apologize for making you wait.”
Gwent was announced at E3 this year for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. CD Projekt has also voiced that they would like to see Gwent be a title that supports cross-platform play. Check out our thoughts on the game here.
