Call of Duty 2 on Xbox 360 has joined the growing list of Xbox One backwards compatible games.
Call of Duty 2, which was a launch title for the Xbox 360, is now playable on Xbox One via backwards compatibility. Major Nelson made the announcement via Twitter, marking this the second Xbox 360-era Call of Duty game playable on Xbox One.

Call of Duty 2 joins 2010s Call of Duty: Black Ops as the second Xbox 360-era Call of Duty game playable on Xbox One. This could be a sign that Microsoft is hard at work to bring other Xbox 360 Call of Duty games into the backwards compatibility program. The Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program launched last year with the intent of making more and more Xbox 360 games compatible with Xbox One over time. As of now, the program has over 200 games including Red Dead Redemption, Mass Effect, and, of course, Call of Duty 2.
