‘Monster Hunter Stories’ and ‘The Legend of Zelda’ Collaboration Announced

The upcoming Japanese RPG in the Monster Hunter family, Monster Hunter Stories, has revealed a few new things regarding the character costumes and other items you can obtain throughout the game. The following trailer, showed earlier at this morning’s Nintendo Direct, depicts your character in the game wearing Link’s tunic and a small animal friend, most likely a palico), wearing Majora’s Mask, both from the Legend of Zelda series. The rest of the trailer depicts a few more Legend of Zelda images, like the protagonist riding on Epona and some kind of ultimate or final move that shows the Triforce.

The entirety of the trailer is in Japanese but you can gather the bits of what is being spoken about just through the video. The game is set to release on October 8 in Japan exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.
