Bioshock: The Collection Free On PC if You Already Own It

Bioshock: The Collection is out in just a couple days and if you’re a fan who has previously purchased the games on PC then this recent blog post should make you pretty happy. Over on 2K’s site they detail how those copies will be upgraded come release date.

Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and Bioshock 2: Minerva’s Den will get free upgrades to the remastered version. Also included will be the Director’s Commentary: Imaging Bioshock. If you own these games on Steam you will automatically get separate copies of the remasters in your library come launch. If you don’t own these titles on Steam it’s a bit more tricky. For Bioshock you’ll need to submit proof of purchase. For Bioshock 2 you’ll need to use your Games for Windows Live key on Steam. Bioshock Infinite is already current gen so there’s no extra copy of the game being added there.

Bioshock: The Collection launches on September 15, 2016 for PC and September 13, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Check out the PC requirements below!
