One of the key features that separates Hearthstone from it’s competitors in the collectible trading card game genre is the fact that it’s purely an online game. There are no physical cards to hold Blizzard back from making changes at a moment’s notice. With that said, they will be doing some balance updates very soon as detailed over on their official page. Check out all that will entail below.
Keep in mind that these changes are not live yet so prepare yourself. Now’s your chance to quickly craft a Shaman deck and experience all the power that Blizzard will be snatching from them. The update will arrive with 6.1.3 which is planned to go live before the Last Call events leading up to the Hearthstone Championship Tour. Here are the incoming nerfs that you need to know about.
Rockbiter Weapon will now cost 2 mana.
Tuskarr Totemic will now have a random chance to summon a basic Totem as opposed to any Totem.
Call of the Wild will now cost 9 mana.
Execute will now cost 2 mana.
Charge will now cost 1 mana, but the minion you play it on will not be able to attack heroes nor will it receive plus 2 attack power.
Abusive Sergeant will have it’s attack reduced to 1.
And last but certainly not least, Yogg-Saron will cease casting spells if at any time after playing him he is destroyed, transformed, silenced or returned to the player’s hand.
