Wheels of Aurelia is Rolling into Consoles

An indie, isometric, narrative-driven driving game, Wheels of Aurelia is a little different from the standard-fare city driving game or simulation out these days. Set in the late 70s in Italy, developer Santa Ragione’s Wheels of Aurelia follows the tale of Lella, a woman with a great haircut on the roads that span the western coast of Italy – the Via Aurelia. Here’s the thing: Wheels of Aurelia is about replaying many, many times. Each playthrough is only meant to last about fifteen minutes. Of course, there are sixteen multiple endings, and different decisions to get them. It’s a time of terrorism, kidnappings, and political turmoil in Italy, so expect some playthroughs to get bumpy. We thought it was an alright ride overall.
