A new trailer for Dishonored’s sequel shows both Emily and Corvo, the two optional protagonists, using their supernatural abilities to make their escape.
First, we see Emily who has the ability to transform herself into shadow, pull enemies towards her, link her enemies fates and magically distract them. She can combine these powers to either sneak past foes, or destroy them. In this video, we see the player taking a more violent approach, although measures could have been taken to spare them.
Corvo then takes on the same enemies in his own way. He can teleport, possess enemies, stop time, and throw a gust of wind that knocks people back. It’s interesting to see how Emily and Corvo can approach the same situation very differently.

Dishonored 2 will allow players to choose at the beginning of the game whether they want to play as Corvo, the hero of the first game, or Emily, Corvo’s daughter whom you saved in the first game. The story of the second will take one of the two to Karnaka, a pleasant coastal town, to take back the throne.
Dishonored 2 is set for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 11.
