Do you have a desire to check out what’s on the horizon for upcoming indie games, but still can’t afford admission to the likes of PAX or IndieCade? Well, Double Fine and iam8bit have you covered (for at least one day, anyway) with the fourth annual Day of the Devs, a celebration of indie games including dozens of upcoming titles to play, food trucks, art exhibits, and music from the likes of SCNTFC, Jim Guthrie, and Baiyon, with free admission. And it all goes down on November 5.
The lineup for this year’s festival includes fifty games, including such notables as Yooka-Laylee, Knights and Bikes, Little Nightmares, Hollow Knight, Loot Rascals, and Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin, though that’s just scratching the surface when it comes to attention-grabbing games. It’s also mentioned as a growing list, so don’t be surprised if a few more titles get added over the next two weeks. You can check out the full lineup over at the official Day of the Devs site, where you can also RSVP for the event. Day of the Devs will take place on Saturday, November 5 from 3 to 10 P.M., with the festivities held at The Midway on 900 Marin Street in San Francisco. So needless to say, those of you in the area then may definitely want to take a look, especially concerning this year’s impressive indie crop (possible pun involving Maize not intended).
