One of the most interesting changes in gaming over the years is that more developers are willing to explore uncomfortable, depressing storylines. Lydia is one such game, with a young girl who is trying to understand the substance addiction of her parents.

The developer cites To the Moon as one of their inspirations. Anyone who played that should know already the tone Lydia is going for. The graphics, cartoon-like with an absence of color (in most scenes), already appear very enigmatic.
