Ever since its Kickstarter campaign in the beginning of this year, Foam Sword games’ action RPG Knights and Bikes has been a spellbinding game indeed, one that really aims that help capture the spirit of a 1980s fantasy adventure while still showcasing some unique and fun gameplay, all handled by industry veterans. It’s the type of game that deserves all the exposure and support it can get, and now Foam Sword have a major backer helping them out now in the form of Double Fine, who announced today that they will be helping to publish Knights and Bikes.

Needless to say, both teams are excited to work with each other on bringing the young Nessa and Demelza’s journey to save their European island of Penfurzy to a wider audience. No official word yet on whether Double Fine Productions will be publishing both the PC and PS4 versions, though it is arguably implied that all possible platforms will be covered. Knights and Bikes is currently set for a 2017 release, and will be playable at Double Fine’s Day of the Devs event this Saturday (as mentioned in the above tweet), so those attending should definitely check it out.
