Have 2K Games Stopped Supporting BioShock: The Collection?

BioShock: The Collection is only a month old, but it would seem that 2K Games and developer Blind Squirrel Games have ceased all support.

BioShock: The Collection was a solid remaster, but it had a few issues. The remastered collection suffered from some visual glitches, and there were a few occasions where the audio would dip out. After patching the PC version a few weeks ago, console players have been eagerly awaiting their turn. However, there’s still not patch, and there might never be.

NeoGaf user DOWN recently reached out to 2K Games Support about a possible patch. The reply back was extremely depressing. According to DOWN, the support person emailed back stating that they do not know whether the game, “will be supported or if it is being worked on anymore.” Obviously, this should be taken with a grain of salt until 2K Games or Blind Squirrel Games to make an announcement, but for a title that has only just recently launched, it’s a bit disturbing that the publisher and developer appear to have abandoned it.

We’ll let you know should 2K Games make any statement regarding future support for BioShock: The Collection.
