Details, Trailer Released for Second Year of Rainbow Six: Siege DLC

After releasing the final piece of DLC for Rainbow Six: Siege’s first season pass two weeks ago, Ubisoft announced their plans to commit to a second season of post-release content for the close-quarter shooter. Now, Ubisoft has elaborated further on those plans, and released a brief trailer to tease what’s to come for Siege.

While the trailer below serves more as an overview of the first season pass and the operators and maps within it, the Ubiblog post that featured it offered much more in the way of concrete information on the Year 2 season pass. Just like the first season pass, next year’s season pass will feature eight new operators and four new maps, and will release every few months throughout the next year. The four countries that the new season pass will focus on are Spain, Hong Kong, Poland, and South Korea, with related headgear, uniforms, and more, with additional benefits for players who bought the first season pass or buy this new one before February 7. While this new season pass will cost an additional $30, it should be noted that all of the content within Siege is unlockable via the base game, with the season passes merely providing early access to the new content.

Rainbow Six: Siege is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with options for a Gold Edition that includes the new season pass, and the Complete Edition which additionally includes all the operators from the first season pass.
