The 2017 CES has brought about some major news – but not a ton of it has been gaming-centric until today. NVIDIA officially announced the next version of the Shield TV today. Beyond delivering the best Android gaming experience possible, the new device will use GeForce NOW to allow you to stream games in real-time with low-latency. GameStream also allows you to stream their PC games and enjoy 4K media streaming as well. The prior Shield TV delivered best-in-class Android gaming, and the new version will deliver console-quality games like The Witness and the Tomb Raider reboot. Going beyond gaming, it will also gain Google Assistant integration and offer up the ability to turn the Shield into a smart home hub. The device is available for shipping now on NVIDIA‘s site, with $199.99 and $299.99 variants available.
