The beat ’em up genre is alive and well in the indie community. This is evidenced by games such as Moonfall, which just arrived on Steam Greenlight today.
The first thing people are likely to notice is its hand-painted visuals, followed by the fantasy “industrial gothic” setting. Players explore in 2D fashion, fight enemies with a wide array of weapons, and can choose between three different classes.
As of right now, Moonfall is expected to have a fifteen level campaign and multiplayer as well. Moonfall will arrive on PC first, with a PS4 and Xbox One port following that release.
