Bungie has finally announced Destiny 2.

No additional information was given, but the image does tell us a lot. The Last City is burning, and the Traveler itself appears to be on fire. Initial reports suggested that The Last City would be attacked at some point in the sequel. The image confirms this. Bungie should be providing more information real soon.
Destiny 2 is expected to launch September 8 in Europe on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It is unknown if that will be a worldwide release date, or if it’ll hit North America Tuesday, September 5.
