Microsoft has renewed the trademark for Scalebound, via SomosXbox. There is no official statement from Microsoft, but rumors have already begun to spread like wild fire that the game will be pulled from the ashes. It’s not speculation to think if it is indeed being brought back, Microsoft will have a different team working on it – meaning Platinum Games won’t be involved.
An interesting tweet surfaced regarding Scalebound, which involves an insider close to the Microsoft team:
Insider Report: Do you remember Scalebound? Development is resumed, led by and entrusted to an important "close" MS team. Info soon!

If the rumors are true, then fans will most likely have mixed emotions, as the game might take even longer to finish. With no acknowledgement from Microsoft, it’s unlikely that Scalebound will appear at E3, but it would be quite the spark if the game was shown off at the Xbox conference.
