The Nintendo Switch’s library only grows with the addition of hacking-n-slashing Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star. A spin-off video game title from the popular Fate series originally spawned by TYPE-MOON, Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star resembles a Dynasty Warriors game in a bit of a sci-fi setting. Instead of largely featuring the biggest, headlining characters of the series, much of the more spot-lit members of Fate/EXTELLA’s cast many are different people entirely from franchise regulars. Although The Umbral Star is not exclusive to Switch, it is another addition the platform in a time of much-needed growth.
