ARMS Receives Version 2.1 Update

One of Nintendo’s most creative titles, ARMS, has just been given a massive update. We felt it was a pretty fun game and one that requires much more than just a flick of the wrist. Now with these big changes, ARMS is getting players to become much more competitive.

New training modes have been added which shows off some of the other features you’ll need during fights. Hitbox sizes for some of the fighters have been adjusted whether increasing or decreasing. Master Mummy is now a bit faster when it comes to dashing and jumping. Mechanica has been given a boost in her jump speed as well. Kid Cobra has a bit of a change to his jump attack. Byte & Barq now has Barq being able to get up more quickly.

In addition to the characters getting some changes, many of the arms weapons did as well. They have all been listed below with many of them having decreased or increased damage, charge and more. Read more about the 2.1 update and look at the listing below for more details.

Corrected odd behavior that occurred when a rush attack connected with a wall or platform.
Blorb Corrected odd behavior that occurred when a rush attack connected with an opponent that was not targeted.
Seekie Decreased retraction speed.
Made it so the electric shock when a charge attack connects doesn’t last as long.
Ramram Decreased retraction speed.
Decreased expansion rate for charge attacks.
Decreased speed of charge attacks.
Cracker, Popper, Hydra Decreased retraction speed.
Bubb, Buff Decreased extension speed.
