Sony To Hold Press Conference At This Year’s Paris Games Week

Sony have today announced that they will be hosting a media showcase during this year’s Paris Games Week — which kicks off November 1 — taking place a couple of days beforehand on Monday, October 30. With their competitors Microsoft focusing on this year’s Gamescom, held just across the border in Germany in the coming weeks, it’s only logical to see PlayStation returning to France’s own gaming event having skipped last year’s outing.

Some may remember the likes of Detroit: Become Human, Gran Turismo Sport & Tekken 7 were given their official unveilings at 2015’s event, alongside new gameplay of a whole host of indie titles, so it’ll be interesting to see what Sony have in store via already-confirmed titles — notably the likes of Media Molecule’s Dreams, which has been fairly absent as of late — alongside, hopefully, some new announcements we haven’t already seen at the likes of E3 this year. The media showcase kicks off at 9am Pacific/12pm Eastern in the US and at 4pm in the UK.
