In all of the gameplay footage for Monster Hunter: World so far we’ve only seen one area, the Ancient Forest. The latest trailer drops players in the newest revealed area known as the Wildspire Waste, a desert-like wasteland with muddy terrain and tons of wildlife. The trailer reveals a handful of monsters, including the mud-slinging brute wyvern Barroth and a brand new bird wyvern known as Kulu-Ya-Ku. At the tail end, a mysterious gigantic monster is seen rising up from a mountainous region and opening it’s maw, possibly presenting itself as the first new elder dragon for the title.
